1. TRADING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1.1 Prices, currency and tax
All goods are billed in UK Pounds Sterling. For payments by PayPal or credit/debit card the actual currency conversion rate is determined by PayPal or the issuing bank at the time you confirm your order. Prices are not subject to VAT (UK sales tax). Where we agree to ship goods overseas, import tax and sales duty may be imposed by the Customs Department of your country and this must be paid by you before receiving your goods. We recommend you research the tax and/or duty to be paid before placing an order. Our prices are reviewed periodically and may change without notice.
1.2 Ordering
You must be at least 18 years of age to purchase from this website. You are deemed to have placed a provisional order by ordering via our online checkout process. As part of our checkout process you will be given the opportunity to check your order and to correct any errors. We will send you an order acknowledgement email, detailing the products you have ordered and total cost in Pounds Sterling.
Acceptance of an order takes place only when the order is despatched, which will be confirmed by email. Once your order has been despatched the purchase contract will be made even if your payment has been processed immediately. An order can be cancelled before despatch either by you or us.
An order may be refused: a) where goods are not available; b) where we cannot obtain authorisation for your payment; c) if there has been a pricing or product description error; or d) if you do not meet the eligibility criteria set out in our terms and conditions.
1.3 Title & Payment
Goods remain our property until they are fully paid for, acceptable payment methods include PayPal, credit/debit card or direct bank credit. Goods are not despatched until payment has fully cleared which can take up to 10 working days. You will be promptly refunded should you notify us an order is to be cancelled.
1.4 Shipping
At the moment we ship only to a confirmed UK PayPal address. Your order will be posted by the most suitable method which includes Royal Mail services and delivery by courier. Orders are subject to availability and will be despatched as soon as possible but please allow up to 14 days from us receiving cleared payment.
1.5 Returns & Your right to cancel
We want you to be 100% happy with any item purchased from us, if you are not happy with any purchased product please contact us within 14 days of receipt, stating the problem.
As per the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Directive 97/7/EC the right to cancel allows you time to examine any goods sent to you. The cooling off period starts when the contract is concluded and ends 7 working days after the day the goods are received.
When returning an item a customer has a duty to take reasonable care of the goods and to return them to us in the same condition they were received in. The customer will pay the return postage costs unless our prior agreement is obtained. All returned items must be sent via recorded/tracked post as we cannot be responsible for lost items.
In all cases where a return is required please contact us before returning the item(s) so we can advise the easiest and best return process for you.
1.6 Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Regulations 2015
We want you to be 100% satisfied with any products purchased from us, in the unlikely event you are not happy simply contact us to arrange for a refund or replacement as you wish. In the even more unlikely event you remain dissatisfied you can freely contact the following ADR and ODR providers for alternative dispute resolution-
If you paid for your order via PayPal, go to https://www.paypal.com/uk/webapps/mpp/paypal-safety-and-security for details of their “buyer protection” scheme.
If you are a UK customer and did not pay by PayPal, you can use the Retail Ombudsman to file a complaint;
For non-PayPal customers outside the UK, visit the EU ODR website for an online dispute resolution process effective from 15.2.2016.
